I am a second-year master’s student in the Department of Computational Biology and Medical Sciences, scheduled to complete my program in March. I applied for the Schedule A entrance examination, but my examination number is not on the list for the oral examination in August. What should I do?

If you apply to the doctoral program while enrolled in the master’s program in the Department of Computational Biology and Medical Sciences, and there is no gap between the month of completion and the month of enrollment (i.e., the gap is less than half a year), the oral examination will be conducted around the same time as your master’s thesis final defense. In other words, for those completing in March, the entrance oral examination will be held around January–February, and for those completing in September, it will be held around July–August.

In other words, if you are scheduled to complete in March and apply for Schedule A, there will be no oral examination in July–August. Similarly, if you are scheduled to complete in September and apply for Schedule B, there will be no oral examination in January–February.
