Can I get the problem booklets of both Japanese and English problem?

No. You can choose either.

Do I have to take problems that corresponds to the research subjects of the lab I wish to join?

No. You can choose any problems within the specified rules.

Can I bring a calculator and use it during the written exams?

No, you can't. If you bring a calculator into the exams, you will be disqualified and considered as failed.

What is the minimum passing score of the exams?

Since we have a quota, pass/fail is determined by relative evaluation. For this reason, it is not possible to specify the pass/fail line in advance. In addition, we do not disclose the minimum passing score in the past years. The number of applicants and the number of successful applicants in the past exams are disclosed on the exam web page of GSFS.

How should I print my examination admission ticket?
The admission ticket is provided as a PDF file in A4 size.
Please print it in color on A4 paper (210 mm × 297 mm), cut along the dotted lines, and bring it with you on the examination day.
If A4 paper is not available, you may use paper of a similar size such as letter size.
